its been so long since i have type something here. been really busy, most of the time lazy and cant be bothered about it. so sorry. photographs taken from my recent trip to china is still in progress. will get them done soon. so b4 that let me show u something!

TABLO is like the only artist i can nvr say anything bad about. even if i love TVXQ so much sometimes i still think their music sucks but NEVER! to epik high. the music they produce are so much better than those top-charting songs dese days. they are true musicians and they deserve recognition! so y jealous?! they have originality & creativity. their music reflects the ugly side which many are too afraid to face & that shows TABLO'S & EPIK HIGH'S COURAGE!!! i really hope tablo & his family will stay strong. even if there's 100 people who doubt TABLO, i m sure there's THOUSANDS OUT THERE WHO BELIEVE HIM!!!! those people who said this&that about him are just cowards who cant face the facts! those suckers just dont know how to appreciate good music!

I still dunno if I have accepted the fact that my grandpa is not around anymore or I have. But i'm happy that he left happily & peacefully. & he left behind 21 years of beautiful memories. thank you, grandfather! now maybe he is like the following picture, up there looking at us~ now tt he is happy, healthy & no more worries up there, i should be happy too.

I’m not facing the whole world alone like many others, because we have family, we have friends. Who can say you are alone, like really alone. If you are, you must be blind, deaf etc. Those who cant see, who cant hear who cant whatever are so much better than you. I think I’m really fortunate that I have this omg so rare illness. Even the doctors in Thailand said I’m a rare species. Whoo~ I’m going to be extinct! I oways love to brag about my illness, because it’s the only thing that I know more than anyone else other than the cardiologist who checked on me. Plus we don’t get to see rare species walking around everywhere and everyday. We are special man! I’m so proud of that! It’s sometimes hilarious to actually see the expressions of people when I told them I have this illness. I mean it’s not the shock kind, it’s more like, are-you-for-real kind of face. There are many other expressions though. They always interest me and make me wanna start my engine with my OH WOW condition.

People with illness, people with something missing out of their lives, all these serves as encouragement, don’t they? So ya I might just be noble and inspire people, HOHOHO. Like that will happen? ha! But come to think about it, it really does. I mean, not me but other people. Look at those missing a leg, swimming for the Olympics. They make you cry, sure they are so poor thing but I think we the ones who are crying are poorer. They are so much happier with those smiles on their face. They fulfill their dreams and wth are we these good-for-nothings doing in our chair everyday msn-ing/blogging`. Yes I’m one useless chap, really I am!

Despite being useless, I did learn to look at things differently thanks to my “damaged” heart. Like how I don’t regret dying even if I might just get a fatal heart attack the following day. I’m well prepared everyday. My family would be sad but they will understand, since like it’s common for my case. Sometimes I think living is much worse than dying. Ok I know its bad to think that way. But I think although living for only 20 short years, I didn waste my life. I have been to places, I have studied, I did wad I love, design or arts. Although I didn’t do anything like wow remarkable but those little things add up to make me feel great. Life is about living happy anyways. Fortunately I did grew up, maybe, and learn that many people care for me and love me. Unlike last time I took everything for granted. I thought my parents were always bias towards other people and was never me. I might even smoke, drink, gamble or worse take drugs given my spoilt personality. It’s really sad that I have to learn, or maybe learn is the wrong word, grew to realize that my parents and many others love me. And not realizing it earlier, being a spoilt child, having my parents getting worried all over, crying for me etc.

I’m really blessed with my life! Imagine I have this bomb and fixing it realllllly cost a bomb, and I’m born in a family where I dont have to worry abt not having 3meals a day.

My mum, whom I was oways thought she only loves my brother when I was young. The person whom we all shld thank everyday not only on our birthday. She have live her life behind shadows of my granny, my dad. Listening to everything she was told to do and have to do. She never complained and never had the chance to do so. She was born in a family where politics almost suffocate her. The stress was leveled up when my dad was jobless and was later diagnosed with risk of heart failure. She coax her husband everyday without fail to get an operation. Hiding the truth from her husband tt her beloved daughter is getting an operation. She stayed with me every single day never leaving my side. After my operation, it was hell for me but it was even worse for her. She didn get any sleep at all. Her face shrunk, she lost more weight than I did. Her face was no longer red or pink, it was pale yellow. Every sound I made, she would stand up and check on me.

My dad worked hard under the sun, piling up sand just to earn every cent to provide for my family and I. he smokes everyday thinking why cant he quit so that those money can be save up for my family. The more he thinks the more he smokes. Thinking of money money and nothing but money so tt the bills are paid, my brother and I are able to study, my mum having pocket money for shopping. He hates vege, hates praying, hates chanting. He never fail to cry watching a sad love story. He almost fainted after I came out of the operating room, back in 2004. Though he wasn’t with me in Bangkok, for my 2nd operation, because he was too afraid, he did not cry. Instead he prayed, he chanted, he ate one whole day of vegetarian without complains.

My granny, whose already over 60 years old still worrying abt me and yet I oways talk back to her. She loves every single one of us more than she loves herself. She have joint problems yet she is willing and determined to walk the extra mile for her children and her grandchildren, esp me. She stayed with me every single day after my operation. Nagging and never stop nagging. I grew to get used to her nagging and strangely loving it. It’s a sign tt she is still healthy and will always be. She’s like a general leading us in doing good deeds, in turn better lives. I’m one example. She donated large amount of money in my name. I’m just a 20 year old!

My grandpa, whom I lied to. He wanted to tag along but he didn’t know about my operation too. And because of his weak heart, nobody dared to sound a word. Therefore we all came up with a pack of lies just to tell him I am fine, I m just going for the usual checkup etc. Then somebody let the cat out of the bag, unintentionally of course. So I had a long overseas phonecall with my grandpa. At the beginning he didn sound a word about knowing my situation. So I asked, “Gong gong, you know already isit?” He answered saying, “Ya! I know~ Bangkok very peaceful now no riots” etc etc. then I told him it isn’t about this matter, he then exclaimed, “YA! U lied to me!!!” I burst out in tears immediately and kept apologizing. Till now, I feel guilty over lying to an old man, my grandfather.

My brother, the sometimes, arrogant, unreasonable, fierce and over-protective member of my family, promised he would buy me a gift and so I must be strong and brave when I’m being pushed into the operating room. Crying in the army due to a phone call when he was training in tekong. Imagine those who don’t know the story, pin-pointing him, calling him a sissy. Always willing to give his share to me when he himself is already starving. Mop the floors, wash dishes, wash clothes, cook for the family. Although complains but never fail to do a good job. No matter how many times we always fought or quarreled, we always ended the cold war within 24 hours because he still loves his sister, also his mother and his father and everybody.

My godmother, praying everyday, saving not only my life, but many others. Giving her blessings to everyone and bearing the hardship all by herself. My 2nd uncle, earning yet giving much more so that hospital fees are paid, so that I have the chance to go pray in china. My aunts and uncles, whom I have no blood relation, took care of me when I was in Bangkok. Providing food, shelter, most imptly love and care. My family, friends, teachers, who prayed for me, who cared for me. Theres just way to many ppl I have to mention, THANK YOU ALL V V V MUCH!

This maybe old fashion but I’m still gonna say it. Like I said, it was never me, myself and i. Without these people, HOW M I GOING TO SURVIVE?!!!! I’m really blessed. Compared to those who suffered, I’m nothing. Although I’m “richer”, but I’m so much poorer than many others. They have no money and yet they have to work their ass off to keep themselves alive. They are richer in knowledge, richer in knowing how to take responsibilities etc. Sometimes I wonder, who am I in my past life. I must be a hell-ass freak doing all sorts of bad things, that’s why I got this rare thing in me, and yet what good thing I did after to make me meet so many wonderful people in my current life. This really is the greatest question mark I ever had. If only I knew, huh? Then I wont waste my time repeating this question to myself.

This post was written back in june09. When I just operated and was stuck at home. So I decided to write up this LONG LONG COMPOSITION. So treat it like its posted ard june. Ok?

I have missing out on a lot of things but of course, I am out of Singapore for like days. No, months! I can’t even type as fast right now. Lol! I’ll be crapping as usual, so if you dun wanna read my grandmother stories, please wait patiently for my picture spams in days to come ;] //warning-this is seriously freakin` long like super uber~ [5 pages!!!!] so stop here if u don’t wanna continue.

Ok, I have returned as a changed person. I had an makeover, not exactly on my face but inner beauty, haha! My heart is all patched up! not that its broken because of some sad love story. Through this entry, I might land myself in deep shiat but who cares, we live in a democratic society, and I am only stating the facts anywayz. Facts and reasons, why Singapore is so much poorer in so many things. Or maybe just one thing, I cant find a word to describe this thing due to my limited vocab, so u figure our yourself.

Many are bewildered why in the world I went to Bangkok for my opt. { I want a sex change, that’s y~ haha! } isn’t Singapore good enf? Singapore is definitely not good enf! They are only good at showing off those little things they did, those minor break through/s, being the first in Asia and bla blas. Wads the use of showing off when they had so much failures?! Those problems left unsolved. But on the other hand, who would admit these unstated failures, they will be labeled with dirty names. I’m one problem they left unsolved. I’m labeled as well, with such a profound name, Ebstein Abnomaly. LOL! A doctor once told me unborn babies detected with my case, in Singapore, are aborted str8away and stated as miscarriage. CAN YOU BELIEVE THIS?! Lucky I’m born in those olden days when I’m not being detected. Doctors also say people like me won’t survive 3-4months after birth, even if they did, they won’t last after 3 or 4 yrs old. Wads with the 3 and 4? I’M NOW 21 !!!!! or maybe 2+1=3, this is wad they mean. Addition to that, kids with heart problems are usually small sizes, like thin and short. Hello?~ although I’m not tall, TALL but I’m still over 160 near 170 ok~~~ argh! Thank my parents, families, those who love me for praying for me, and allowing me to grow to this date. THANK YOU THANK YOU!

I was thrown around the hospitals of Singapore since born, born in a neighborhood hospital, put into the incubator, not because I’m premature, was later transferred to the government’s hospital, TTS. Where years, I have been a study material for doctors studying cardiology, yet for 15 years! There wasn’t any solution to me, this PROBLEM! {till now, there still isn’t any solution} I was just a little girl then, when everytime I went for my regular checkups, multiple doctors or interns, mostly males would surround me, and those things wad u call `em? Those thingys tt hang over doctors’ neck. So cold when it came contact with my skin. Then after, I got transferred again to KK hospital. And one day I fell ill, high fever which lasted for days already, my mum was so scared it would affect my heart, we went to KK so tt I could admit into the hospital, they said, I’m already over 16, I can’t stay in KK. WAD THE HELL?! I’M DYING ALREADY! Then one REALLY REALLY, I MEAN REALLLLLY good doctor hurried those nurses to get me an ambulance and took me to SGH. Those nurses, omygoodness, there is just no words to describe them. That’s the time when KK took the chance to “throw” me away. I asked my regular doctor who have been seeing me since born, he works in KK, why m I transferred. He said, really nicely though, you are too old already. Then I asked, then those other patients having heart problems like me, do they get thrown away when they are too old, like I did? He said, no, they have already recovered by then. I was like “WTH”! but this doctor who took care of me since young is really very nice, although he didn really did much or maybe just cos Singapore they dunno how to. Hmm. Wadever. This doctor was Professor Cheng, thats wad everybody greets him. He is really really nice. Ok that’s not wad this post is about. Let me continue.

And so nothing was done, or even tried on me. It was only regular checkups which always conclude the same way. “No changes, you can go back now”. AND I’M PAYING MORE THAN 50 BUCKS every 6 months just to hear this shiat! So then, my godmother told me to visit the hospital in Bangkok, it’s the govt’s hosp actually. Doctors there are well-experienced and took care of the royal family. So I went for my first check up in Thai. It was interesting. Although the machines aren’t as advanced as Singapore, but doctors are sharper! My granny, who also have heart problem, did the check up with me, when both our ECGs got switched by the nurse. Then it was consultation time. The doctor examined me first when my granny was waiting outside. She listened to my heartbeat and observed the ECG. She was frowning, looking it extra carefully when she dashed out and questioned the nurse bla bla. Then my granny thought it was her turn, she came in with her file with “her” ECG then. The doctor returned and asked me to hold on while we wait for the nurse. Meantime, she checked on my granny. Then she realized both our ECGs got switched. I wonder will Singapore doctors do that? Or they just dun give a hack. Oh ya, FYI, checkups in Thailand [govt hospitals tt is] are FOC! Yet they are so detailed. OMGawd~

I’m a regular of hospitals and comparing Singapore’s to Thailand’s, it’s basically hell and heavens apart. And I mean it! In hospitals, nurses always have to take your temperature and blood pressure etc regularly and usually these are the times when u are the most tired, when you are about to sleep, when you are about to have some quiet time, when you are the most vexed. Nurses in Singapore, they don’t give a damn, they just come in, swing the thermometer and expect you to just automatically open ur mouths and stick right into it. But in Thailand, they greet you first, tell you is temperature taking time, smiling! Then “ah” then put in inside ur mouth. They just sort of treat every patient like a baby. I mean I know I’m not a baby and should understand that this is just a small thing, why make it a fuss, right? But since it’s such a small matter, why can’t those nurses show some courtesy? They can’t even do such a small thing right, how can they do much bigger things? But I gotta emphasize not all nurses in Singapore are tt bad, there are still nice ones just that most of the time, I saw the bad. The nice things they do, its hmm, too minor to actually worth flashing back. Call me unlucky~ but do observe if *choy choy* by any chance u land urself in the hospital. I seriously would still prefer thai’s. I’m not being brainwashed ok but this is the fact. Hospitals are very expensive hotels and Singaporeans pay huge amounts checking into local hospitals and not getting the treatment they deserve. Whereas in Thailand, you pay a cheaper price but, you get first class service and you really do get some rest, you really do recover. Whereas, in Singapore, all you get is frustration and wanting to go home faster so maybe that’s why patients still do recover even though they aren’t very well taken care of.

There’s this one time when I visited my Dad in hospital (Singapore). I was near the nurses’ station, when there are around 3 nurses, mostly females, and a doctor explaining the x-ray film to a patient. This is wad I saw, the doctor was trying so hard to explain to the patient, not because the patient couldn’t understand, it was because the nurses were TOO LOUD! Talking, chit-chatting and bla bla. Its so rude, & they still say patients need some rest, and u know wad, I was inside my father’s room and I could hear those nurses outside talking so loudly. & god their faces carry no smiles! Ya I know being a nurse is a hard-core job, but since u take up tt job, do it properly. To me those nurses are as if wearing those uniforms just for decoration, just for showing off! Since like nurses are very well~~-respected.

Back to the checkups, checkups aren’t the only thing that is FOC, doctors in this particular hospital I live in, don’t get paid too. They sort of volunteer themselves. These are what you call doctors man. Not exactly those doctors you pay aren’t good, they are good if they really do check on you, tell you what to do, instead of just asking you wads the problem and then prescribe you with medicine when sometimes you don’t even get to know wads the cause of the pain. Wads the use of seeing the doctor when you only get medicine, you can be a doctor yourself when you have tons of medicine backup in your fridge. Sometimes I think is medicine that cause all these drama. Wad swine flu, SARS bla bla.

My surgeon wasn’t paid a cent for operating on me, for advising me etc. The only thing my family had to pay was the hospital fees etc. But despite tt, my surgeon was like a father to me. He was a father to everybody else. You may think I’m exaggerating. But whatever~ During my first surgery back in 2004, he was also my surgeon, the number of times I see him was countable using my hands but everytime I see him, it sort of gave me the calm feeling, its like as though, oyay I will be fine. He doesn’t talk much but he speak good English! He was very serious actually and warned me not to gain too much weight, avoid this and that. And 2004 was the year I learn more about my own condition. Despite I was already 15, and other than knowing I have a heart problem commonly known as heart murmur, theres nothing more. This doctor, Dr Somthaij {this is the wrong spelling, sry I cant pronounce thai very well}, he spend like half an hour explaining to me then another half explaining to the rest of my family, and many following halfs to even more people. LOL! Wait! Do Singapore doctors do that?! NO! that’s why I only know my condition when I’m 15 ALREADY! Coming back, so this time, after I had my operation, after multiple hold backs, on 18June`09, I was pushed to the ICU. I woke up, without a thought, I asked the nearest nurse, I wanted water! & more water. Then my family came in 2 by 2 to see me. Then when it got later, my surgeon came to check on me and many of his other patients. I wasn’t the only one who he operated that day. But despite how tired he was, he stayed till pretty late. How would I know? Because it was already after midnight and I couldn’t fell asleep. He came to check on me multiple times, talk to me telling me how lucky I was when he opened up my heart and found this huge hole hiding behind my valve, and now it’s all patched up, valve fixed etc, when my doctor in Singapore told me, IT WAS IMPOSSIBLE TO FIX, I WAS FIXED, ok?! Ok, then my surgeon told me to get some sleep. When I couldn’t he told the nurse to gave me some sleeping pills instead because I seriously need some sleep, he said. But I know you are thinking, wth? Aren’t sleeping pills bad? But come to think about it, I’m in great pain and I have like tubes inserted in multiple areas of my body causing me to be stationary. Sleep is the best option right?

Back in 2004, the day after my surgery, my surgeon was amazed by my speedy recovery and said I could get out of ICU. I’m telling you, ICU is HELL. U hear noises everywhere, you cant get sleep, sometimes u might even cry. Because you are not the only one suffering in this whole wide world. The little baby beside, caged in by the machines and tubes. The ever coughing old man, coughing so hard. You really will think how lucky you are that you can still hear and see all these things. So my surgeon got me out of ICU, its another hell after that {but I wont talk about it here }. Now in 2009, despite how late my surgeon stayed till, the day before, he got to the ICU early morning with many other doctors or interns and checked on everyone of us. He explained to his students each and every case etc. then after that he got me out of ICU first thing after his lecture. Back in my ward, this time, it was rather weird or maybe he knew my character as a lion, he became a lion as well. Or maybe he is one. He visited me the same day I was released from ICU, he came, talk a while, and asked me to try and get out of bed myself and walk around the room. Everyone in the room was like STUN! Me as well, so is the doctor who came along with my surgeon. Hmm, then it was all eyes on me. First task was to trY to sit up. It was OMTTTT! The doctor tried to lend a hand but was stopped by my surgeon. Ok~ then I tahan tahan, JYJY and YEAH! I DID IT! Even I think it’s a miracle. WOW~ and all the credits goes to the team of wonderful doctors and those who prayed for me. Thank you thank you~ My surgeon then said, good good, exercise etc. He even joked that I could go shopping the following day. He told me to eat more, so that my organs can get to work.

Every day, the cardiologist would come to check on me while my surgeon was too busy to come visit. But he did make regular phone calls to the nurses to ask about my condition. Then one day when he had the chance he came and visit. He told me I’m making good progress and told me I could return to Singapore. He told me to photocopy my operation documents and give it to Singapore. I was thinking, how nice he is to actually share his “secret” to those ignorant human beings of Singapore, who doesn’t want to admit defeat, oways claming best. Arghhhhh! I’m not nice, I don’t even plan to give those documents to Singapore, who knows one day, when Singapore happen to have another my case, they use it and claim it theirs. ARGHHHHH! & another thing that touched me was, my surgeon actually told me to not come back to Bangkok, don’t spend all those money flying here and there just for him to check for 5 minutes. Its like oh my, he wasn’t paid for operating on multiple patients and yet he spare a thought for us. Asking us to save up those money, save the time and energy. Do Singapore do that? NO!!!! NO! NO!!!! Singapore would make you come back for regular checkups to hear the same old thing, and then spend 50+ bucks when nothing is really done, I wasn’t advise, instead, I was demoralized! Whoo~ that rhythms.

Back to my surgeon, ok like I said he wasn’t paid. I was wondering how he survive so this is just my guess. He is old and very well respected person. Best in the hospital stated by many doctors and hospital frequents. He teaches, gives lecture so maybe this is how he earn a living. Private hospitals hire him as well, since like his da best and all but yet he spend most of his time in the govt hospital which doesn’t pay him much. He is like freakin busy but yet he doesn’t seem to be tired at his current age. He is 60+ btw. I think I’m really lucky to have such a person curing me and saving my life. Thank you very much.

I have been venting out my anger, and made you suffer by reading such a long passage. But seriously, sometimes thinking about all these things just make me hate Singapore so much. The only thing that make me want to love Singapore is my home. I think the only thing Singapore is missing would be passion. Hold on, hmm maybe they have passion, passion to make money and that’s it. Not passion for their jobs! They are just making use of their occupation to get closer to the numbers that follow behind the dollar sign. Argggggh.

All that’s mentioned above might change your concept about Singapore and bla bla because of my criticisms and personal opinion. It might even gain your sympathy but don’t mind it. Right now I might just wanna save my own ass from getting behind bars. So ya. Think about the big picture and don’t compare this and that. Its not about how bad Singapore is or, how good is the doctor who saved my life, its about getting things done the right way. But its usually easier said than done. Like I oways wanted to remove all these grandmother stories but I always end up with long compositions. I think after reading this, if you actually read everything, its better that you analyze, observe things your own, because I might be wrong. No one is perfect~ but to me I’ll still stay thinking tt way. I’m still curious did Singapore actually tried to cure me?

I'M BACK! to re-edit this post hee hee. brian is moved to the bottom of the post. i'm just too lz, so~ sorry for sucky graphics, i just wanna get it over with, so yaaaa~ its gonna be the end of 2009. this year is SHOOOOO HAPPENING la! ok this isnt related as well. haha. the kpop scene of year 2009 is FLOOOOOODED with idol bands poppin` up like mushrooms. & its said to be a year of IDOLS! pls o pls, I HATE IDOL GROUPS! {those who only sell face} arggghh. despite the trend of idol domination, many true musicians or hip-hop icons {no, not BIG BANG or 2ne1} of korea made their comeback this year. still proving that 姜是老的辣！but not all are old oldddd haha. but they prove to the public tt they are the professionals and the music they make are REAL MUSIC! altho results arent obvious with chart sales and rankings, they still sell! instead of selling their face, which is common among idol groups. lookin` delicious but suck at singing LIVE! lets rock it alphabetically.

weird name, was the first thing tt came into my mind. haha! he debuted in 2007, if i'm not wrong, with his mellow rap tune "After Separation" which won him the Cyworld Digital Music Award for most promising newcomer.

In 2009, he solidified his music career with his album titled "Once Again". On his debut album 1sagain not only pens, composes and arranges all songs but also takes care of the recording and the mixing. TALENTED RIGHT?! The album is awesome! its not an all rap album, u can still hear guest artists Bora Ju and Sti lending their voices which is a plus for the album. so so soooo, GO LISTEN!

Debuting at 2006, have released 2 full albums. Having lived in the Los Angeles, US, Crown J brings US-style hip-hop to Korean listeners. Crown J takes control of all aspects of production including composing, writing and penning of all the tracks. another original artist!

Now he is back in the US, singing in english. many hv heard me say tt i hate betrayers - singing in another language etc. but i support him. y? because this isnt exactly betraying. he speaks good english & have lived in an english speaking country and moved back to Korea and voluntarily signed up for the military service - all in the name of love for music. how can i not respect him?

ok many would take G-Dragon as the best, most talented, and youngest hip-hop genius. U ARE SO WRONGGG! is this guy, DOK2 {pronounce as dokki} the latest mem of "Map The Soul". Got into the music scene at 13 {somewhere ard BoA's age when she debuted, just f.y.i} collaborating with JoPD.

He produced songs for famous names in the hip hop scene, like, Tiger JK, Dynamic Duo, LeeSsang and Epik High unlike somebody *cough* big-beang* who "co-wrote" songs with much help from their label mates, he wrote all the lyrics and beats himself and is not involved in plagiarism. He has also turned down G-Dragon's request to feature on one of his songs. {see, not everybody, esp serious korean rappers, are ALL OVER G-DRAGON of big bang's fame}
His latest release is titled "Thunder Ground". The album is sampling-free, meaning that all the beats and melodies will be original. its definitely worth the listen! you wont think this album is sang by someone who haven even reach his twenties.

this duo, made up of members Choiza and Gaeko. their style to more audience-friendly, and have a brighter ambiance. They debuted with the album Taxi Driver {2004} which became the best selling hip hop album in South Korea that year. Dynamic Duo have been known to feature many artists in their songs and also being featured in other famous artists as well. They are part of "The Movement", the most prominent hip hop circle in Korea.

The members are about to serve in the military, thus dropped their farewell album, Band Of Dynamic Brothers with a good amount of wit and humor with an attractive line-up of guest artists featured in their songs. Another one worth listening. & the best time to listen, is when u are upset, stress over projects or exams. because it just hypes u up! PLAY IT LOUDLY!!!!!

i took the longest time thinking of what to write about them. cos its just waaaay to much, and i just LOVE THEM! you should know who the hell they are~ if not just die man just die! haha jkjk. i wont go further to describe them since its just a few keys & click of buttons. but i just wanna add sth, TABLO, you shld have known, he has got!!!! He changed genres from pop music to hip hop and rap. {he made drastic changes & yet hit BIG!} He composed and penned most of his songs. Though Sechs Kies disbanded, in 2002 he performed with former Sechs Kies members, Kang Sung Hoon, and J-Walk (Kim Jae Duc and Jang Su Won). He has worked with artists such as Lee Hyo Ri and Tiger JK. joining "The Movement" in mid-2006. He also performed at the DKNY party, yes DONNA KARAN NEW YORK!

He is also credited with discovering and producing Baechigi {while everybody is head over heels with MBLAQ created by Rain, ok, i'm one of them.}

With his latest release, "Museum", MC Sniper is responsible for both the album's production and lyrics which reflect his own experiences. He invited a strong guest lineup for the album including Rain's producer Tae Won speed rapper Outsider and underground star Saet Byul.

He voice out his opinion abt the current kpop scene, saying, "Music today seems to consist of songs that you listen to and throw out." {this is SO TRUE! i hate "NOBODY" now & they are still singing it~} "The music industry today are focusing a lot on the age brackets of 10-20, using idol marketing." {YA! Another underground act surfacing into the industry. if you are a close follower of Korean Hip Hop, you should have seen them being featured in many artists' releases. Latest featuring was Brian's "My Girl".

Supreme Team, who officially made their mainstream KPop debut in mid-july has already turned fans into a dizzy tizzy over their supremely addicting song, “Super Magic", main song off their full length album, "Supreme Team Guide to Excellent Adventure". They nab the “Rookie of the Month” award at the Cyworld Digital Music Awards. This is quite impressive for a debut hip-hop group/album in the fickle world of KPop. SO SO SO! do give them a listen. Another talented band!

all the talk about "The Movement", this guy, Tiger JK, is the one who created it {in 2002} ! his life is as exciting as hv a black as a US president! {ok too kua zhang, haha!} from experiencing L.A riots, to drug controversy, to making music in hope of relive culture tensions etc. He teamed up with with partner DJ Shine in 1998 and the two debuted under the name Drunken Tiger.

The music they did touched upon taboo topics such as sex, anti-establishment, etc. {This is wad i call, MUSIC WITH MEANINGGGGG!} By 2004, Drunken Tiger had already performed at near sell out venues of 5000+ in places such as Tokyo, Taipei, Beijing, Los Angeles, New York, Washington DC, and Chicago. {& useless idol bands still touring asia? & so what if the wonder-gals hit the billboard charts & toured with Jonas Brothers?}

Then the depart of DJ Shine in 2005, Tiger JK went solo. his latest release, "Feel gHood Muzik," sold a total of 50,000 copies in 3 weeks. {& TMD DE BIAS PANEL gave tt heartbreaker album of the year award when he only sold 11,000+ WTFFF!}

Untouchable, consisting of Sleepy {weird name for a name} and The Action {another weird fella} started off with single "Ready to Shot" in 06. sadly, i think they wasnt recognised then. wad sparked them to fame was their collaboration with Hwayobi singing "It's Okay" for the reality show, "We Got Married". They released their first full length album in january 09. The album is awesomeeee! Songs like "Quiet Storm", "Tell Me Why" and "Driving Me Crazy" really drove me crazyyy. haha! Then followed by their first mini album. Again filled with with rhythmic rap and hip-hop ballads. Wassup was totally addictive. & if u have heard G'Dragon's "The Leaders", theres a part somewhat similar to this song.

I'm not too sure about them producing their own music but they sure have better lives and can rap really well. But i think they arent receiving the right amount of attention they deserve. saddd. oya fyi, Sleepy's Hwayobi's boyfriend :]

Uptown, a South Korean hip hop and R&B group which first debuted in 1997. Uptown was first created in 1996 when the R&B and hip-hop genres of pop music were first introduced to Korea. The group's four original members included Chris Jung, Carlos Galvan, Steve Kim and Tasha Reid. The group underwent several lineup changes and then disbanded in 2000.

They made a comeback in 2006 without Tasha. The female spot was later replaced by teenage artist Jessica H.O {who got into deeeeep shiat criticising BoA} Their latest release, "New Era", with leader Jung Yeon Joon the only remaining original member, continued the brand of hip-hop gangsta funk originated by the group during the 90s. The album puts forth the message that there is always hope, regardless how big problems may be, hoping to comfort listeners during these times of economic insecurity. Totally addictive, totally worth it!

She's the wife of TIGER JK! talking about prefect match. haha~~ ok she didn really release anything this year but you can see her active in awards. haha! along with his husband. eg is MAMA {the crowd stood up when she rap!!!} & GDA.

She is an American born R&B singer and rapper, born to an African American father and a Korean mother. Debuted at an early age of 16. & is a pioneer member of Uptown. She then later formed a duet, Tashannie then in 2001, as a solo artist & hv release 4 albums to date. She's signed under the same label as her husband, and is part of "The Movement" crew.

She's fierce {in rappin`}, speaks Korean and English fluently & is one of the most influential rappers in Korea! LOVE HER! you can check out her latest release, Please Dont Go, which was released last year. ITS AWESOME!

ok a quick review. overall i think the trip was SO-SO. the only fun part was my dad, my mum and i oways bickering. haha! love them! the shopping is nothing compared to thailand's so is the food. theres only one destination, which is the artistic looking restaurant, tt serves the best food. tourist destinations hmm its not exactly as good as wad u see on tv. there are many destinations tt the tour guide left out. so ya hmmm. but in exchange i got to spend time with my mum n dad. so its worth the money. haha! ok the end.

first of all lets pray for those who died in the disasters, be it earthquake or typhoon. we should be damnnnn grateful to our ancestors to let us born in Singapore. altho some parts of Singapore still felt the shake but at least we are consider safe. lets pray ok?

its really sad like within one day, everything is swept out. wads left are broken pieces of bricks, glass etc. so are the hearts of many. i shall keep repeating myself. sometimes when u are stress over family matters, angry with ur brother just cos he stole ur girlfriend? think abt it man, at least u still have ur brother! & u are still alive to know tt ur brother did sth tt upset u. sometimes out of anger, you would say "go to hell, bro!" wad if it really happens the following day? thinking of this seriously haizzz..... dunno wad to say. even i make tt mistake. quarreling with my brother with small little things & wish he could shut up sometimes. picture credits`mguray.

altho the above are like tons of shots but there are still many tt i have left out. some ceremonies, some important events. i didn really take much of the temple's stucture because i was told to avoid taking shots of the staues. theres a reason behind it but i dun really know how to explain it in english. hmm so ya~ anywayz altho this trip was tiring with all the work & stuff. but i learnt quite alot of things. esp wads going on in da kitchen. cutting veges, washing them. hmm i didn do the cooking though but i did the seasoning haha! i nvr did as much kitchen works as compared to this. i was supervised by one of granny's friend whom took care of me everytime i am at bangkok. shes not fierce but a perfectionist. she is very capable as well. she trains us & drives us. mean time putting delicious snacks into our mouths while we were working. haha! no not some motivational thingy. haha! went to watch "JUMP - Korean Comic Matial Arts" performance at the esplanade. it took us weeks to consider just cos i have multiple checkups. really sorry to wenfang cos she asked me abt going with her & i said i couldnt cos i didn expect myself to return to singapore tt soon. so she went alone. & theeeeen when i flew back, my cousin asked me & my mum so ya, & we book the tickets for the last pref when wenfang oso had hers on da same day. YAYYYYY! super long since i have seen her. so lets get it started~~~~

its kinda sad to comeback with a saddening post and its already over a month regarding this issue but better late than never. Despite me being so korean overdosed, i still respect this guy. i mean how not to respect. this guy live up to his reputation as being a KING. i think many would agree with me. by the time u guys read this, i am already at the examination hall. i'm taking an exam again. my first was in 2004. & it seems that the results came out, i failed. the mend tear open when i grew up. i delayed taking this examination for years and so it seems, i cant wait any longer else, i would forget those notes tt i have memorise and thus fail even badly. the marker is still trying to figure out the answer to the question is right or wrong since there seem to be 2 right answers. i'm crying while i type this out. my father would ask me are u scared? y are u crying? actually i'm not afraid tt i would fail this exam. i have lived for 20 years n its enf. i have done wad i love. altho 20 years seems short but i think i hv no regrets. lol y m i saying as though i'm really gonna fail tt exam. actually i wont fail but i would definitely change. despite wad ans is correct. it will just be the shorter or longer will i be able to take my last exam. taking exams isnt v scary, in a few hours, everything will be over. u are numb when u are taking it, things just run progressively without thinking. u know wad to do next. you wont feel a thing. just maybe perspire? although how much i hate taking exams, i think dont treat it like its an exam. there are many other ppl doing the same thing in this world. i'm not the only one. u fail u pass, thats just not impt, u have done ur very best, thats wad is more impt. there are ppl taking exams which levels are higher, chances of failure are higher. yet they still take it, so wad rights do i have to say. my past life, i have done so much wrong doings maybe, its time to payback. but i hv my family with me. my relatives etc etc. i'm v happy taking this exam. wad has to come has to come. its only sooner or later. so its now.

hmm MIA-ing for more than a week now. heh heh, flying here&there + me being lazy, my bad~ anywayz. may30 was my brothers BIRTHDAY! happy birthday to him. altho i oways complain how bad my brother was, he still ROCKS! & love me like a brother. so THANK Q~ haha. anywayz this isnt abt the celebration, he went to indo on his birthday. i had a gathering instead with the Magnificos Dinare { did i spell wrong? } will be spamming with the pictures when i get them. so be patient. i will try to get them up&posted asap :] we catch a movie tt day- Dance, Subaru.

hmm i'm being evil so i'll just shoot abt this movie. i dun really think is O WOW AWESOME! maybe many may think its o so gr8 just because a few seconds or minutes where TVXQ! appeared in the movie, & it makes ur heart flutter when u hear Bolero. i admit i was in cloud nine when i saw the boys, i got quite excited & turn to my friend telling her, "dong bang shin ki, dong bang shin ki!" but bleah thats just a fangirl going crazy. its just weird when subaru met with kohei & they made friends like instantly. & then where in the world does subaru knows where to meet kohei when she dun hv a cellphone. weird! & the ending? subaru & kohei happy ending? unanswered. its not v dramatic like i expected it would be. the beginning was weird & doesnt tie in to the "act 4". beginning there was subaru tying her hair & her inner voice describing her as somewhat weird, loner bla bla. she doesnt seem to be weird & a very lonely loner at all. weirddd. hmm i think if u are a cassie, just go watch ba, just cos u couldnt control the inner screaming fangirl~ others, maybe just wait for it to be boardcast on tv maybe? or do some illegal actions *cough cough* ok now on with the cast~

Meisa Kuroki is very pretty! but not so in the movie, in my opinion. i prefer her to be in those bad girl image. haha. many said she's a mix. obvious but not v much. it's said she is 1/4 Panamanian descent from her father's side. how do you calculate tt quarter? hmm. she debut as a singer &/or model. hmm inside the movie i wouldnt say abt acting skills since i'm not v into dramas & blas blas altho i like it dramatic. but i think for her to learn those dance moves its quite a hard work. kudos~ but the multiple scenes of her dancing ballet, one dance which i dun really know how to appretiate, its kinda boring. & hip-hop, she cant really pull it off tt well too but towards the end, the championship where she dance comtemporary wadever ry that it, its was good. not awesome but still good! i like it.

Go Ara is under the label of SM Entertainment. u know? shes only 19! debuting in 2003 { go count ur numbers, i'm being lazy } b4 knowing her as Liz Park in Subaru, i have thought oh this girl have a small face! & she ishooooooo PRETTY CAN! i think shes the next famous actress under sm after yeonhee. or maybe shes not because theres victoria song. ah but hu cares. shes pretty! hmm her part in subaru, hmm cheerful, playful, bla bla hmm not much of a challenge? i dunno, no rights to comment actually.

Stephanie of Cheong Sang Ji Hee. this 1987-ies, LOVE HER! u know i think she shld be the main lead. since she got a ballet dance base. & shes from some reputable dance school before. her parts are super little. no display of her talent really, just her nicer figure? o wei he~ she can sing she can dance, just maybe she cant act, thats y~ but she still ROCKS!

Yūta Hiraoka is somebody i dunno. lol but its weird finding out tt i actually save his pictures way long ago~ he's quite good looking eh~ thats y i went to find out what his name was. born in 1984. seeing this number i thought of Hye Sun & Kim Joon str8away. just cos they born in the same year. ok sidetrack. hmm like i said in the caption of the movie promo picha, its just weird when he saw subaru then after "stalking" on her, saving her, made friends with her, loveatfirstsight with her~ haha!

Tohoshinki, how not to mention abt them. i know abt this movie at first was through them. & Meisa Kuroki was on their single's cover & movie version promotion video as well. they just sing & display a few moves on stage with japanese version of "Hug". i think this song its gonna be remake into alot of languages. they already hv sang it in korean, chinese, japanese, english, thai is next to come? or maybe malay. since they oways held their concerts at the same o areas.

soon after my father got his stand done { its sth doctors do to your heart, ballooning/un-clot your veins } we head to Hat Yai, to my godmother's temple. yes, my godmother is a nun. & i'm proud of that. in preparation for the 大日子。or 法会。teaser pictures once again, because i still haven got the photographs from one of my relatives/friends. hope i could get them. hmm. so actual posting will have to wait. sorry! now on with the photographs.

i gotta say right after i'm outta NYP, life is getting superrrr busy. i'm not exactly working but things just move in a super uber fast pace. i'm oways MIA-ing, visiting grandpa at indo, praying at hat yai, checking up at bangkok. & tour taiwan with my family! its been v long since i & my dad went on a holiday tgt. the first time was back in primary sch where we visited yun nam. as many know, on tours, its not exactly u relaxing, time is oways ticking. so ya~ everything is just speeding. ohhhh~~~~

i took way too much pictures throughout all my trips, this trip, i took over A THOUSAND! so ya this isnt gonna be a full post, cos i haven really sort out the pictures & edit them. therefore these are just some teaser photographs.

i tried sth new today! whee. ok hmm this is an outdated post. its my bangkok trip in march & its already MAY! man how time flies. i will go on with the pictures spams according to the days. sunday to saturday. i'm just being lz so i will just leave out the captions ok? except for some interesting ones. ok lets get them rollin`

went to this huge market. its really huge. you can find whatever there. its a must to go if you wanna taste some local delights. they hv the usual bbq, the sweet desserts, their spicy stew, fruits and of course seafood but it excludes the insects. haha!

today is MOTHERS'DAY!
wishing all the pretty mama`s happy mama day! dont oways say whoo this girl chio, this girl is hawt, this girl is sweet bla blas. i'm tellin you the most prettiest woman in the world is the one who gave you a brain to have those thoughts. despite covered up with flour while making your favourite dumplings, or got burnt while frying your favourite chicken in sweet and sour sauce, they are still gorgeous. agree? OF COURSE!

so wad we do today? i wasnt a very good girl today. haha! despite the thunder roaring at my area this super early morning, i still went back to sleep. & mummy woke up early to prepare food for coming guests. these days, mummy was kept busy with some family issues and couldnt even get a good rest. although my brother & i didn really touched her touch her but can sense she is happy when we shook her hands wishing her happy mothers' day. & of course the incoming calls of cousins and aunts with the same wishing. we planned to call delivery but cos generous guests actually bought lots of macdonalds, we didn celebrate thus hopefully the celebration will be tmr. brother & i promised to chip in some money for the ingredients but still mum still have to do wad she is good at, cooking! of course dad will lend a big hand. haha!

was lazy to make another blog post thus edit on this one since its kinda related since it features rock artists. so i was surfing around & found this performance of seo taiji. his live is superb and everything is just so nice. its just weird to blend in orchestra symphony with rock but this turns out perfect. tgt with the high pitch choir in the background. totally a work of genius. ok maybe i say until v kua zhang. but OMYTIAN can~ love the conductor's expressions. he's enjoying himself! haha. the man himself is jumping in midst air yet still displaying perfect singing vocals making the fans go wild. this is what real fandom is. the fireworks fired up idol group fandom step aside and unite as one, screaming shouting singing along. 巨大场面for巨大的巨星。ok cut the crap, watch video below:

no mood to blog as usual but i found reasons to blog today! muah ha ha~
but of course b4 i get into myawesomehighness. today was a wasted day, sort of. was in sch once again for the imginecup competition. see some farmiliar faces. and they all bombed me with the same old questions, "how come u in sch?", "i tot u left already?", "how come u everytime come sch one? so free ar?" to say the truth. i am quite free sometimes but i wont go to sch so as to pass my free time. its so wasted. ok so discussed with richard abt the competition thingy then when around to 串门子。& talking crap as usual. then took public transport home cos mummy&daddy went jogging so unable to fetch me. i'm a spoilt brat mannnn~ haha. ok i shall crap abt myawesomehighness.

was chatting with shifu then we started talking abt kpop dying. losing its awesomeness, flooded with youngsters just eager to get off the boot camp and claim fame. haiz. then we moved on to the legends of kpop. the old idol bands like H.O.T, Kangta being eldest of the sm family and bla blas. then we moved on to sm peeps where we talked about TRAX. &&&&& NO MINWOO! the beforeandafter of him. tgt with the jrock concept of oshare kei & visual kei. definitely interesting. then i got on my gearssss and went to search on no minwoo and the trax gang. totally into no minwoo right now. lets take a look:

DJ TUKUTZ is a genius~ and of course TABLO & MITHRA with the awesome rapping. look at the crowd standing in respect! clapping along, and u should c one guy with a certain sign which i forgot what it stands for. or maybe not this clip. next~~

ya you guys should know how i respect these guys and their music. first of all, i seriously think the graphic abv, mithra's head looks weirdddd. maybe its because the coloring is making his neck disappear. haha. ok enf of side-track-ing. these guys are OUT OF THEIR OWN! no labels, no company, no promos + NO RULES. haha~ they are on their own. & i totally respected that. who have guts like them? coming out of their own. but although i really really support the idea, i seriously hope they get recognition still and get people to help them out. and cut all those technical problems on their site out. these guys are the remaining talents of KPOP! and their working their asses off just to get us to listen to true music.

when things start to slow down

this is again another overdued post. i'm terribly sorry about it. i think many knew i went Missing-In-Action right after the submission of NTU Arts, Design, Media portfolio submission. i wasnt online for days, uncontactable, didn replied many sms-es or calls. i seriously apologise about that. i didn want to just suddenly disappeared. so sorry. there was some important issues happened back at home.

the incident is quite heartbreaking actually. my grandpa is already 80 who just celebrated his 80th birthday. its sad that i couldnt attend due to uni applications and portfolio preparations. i haven seen my grandpa for a very long time and then one day when i was at my grandma's house keeping her company, the house phone rang and brought in bad news. serious bad news. my grandpa had a relaspe. or maybe i use the wrong word. grandpa's health have never been well. he nearly suffered stroke and this time it was far worse. he couldnt move his limbs, he was stiff in bed, his body was cold, and he had difficulties breathing. my uncle afraid that he "couldnt make it" called everyone in the family to return. the constant ringing back and forth of the phone between singapore and indonesia to keep us updated in grandpa's health. things began to look better in the early afternoon. grandma had a great shock, so is my mum and i. due to the ferries' scedule there werent earlier rides therefore we reached tanjung pinang in late evening. as things were better, and we, granny, my mum, my cousin and i were famished, my first uncle brought us to had dinner before returning home after a near an hour's ride.

when we got back home, the first thing was to greet my grandpa to check on how his was doing. my grandpa was lying in bed, fairly warm now as my mum held his hand in hers. my mum called out for him. his eyes opening only a small gap. his vision was blur i think. but whats heartbreaking was, grandpa questioned : "who are you?". my cousin and i with our eyes opened wide and tears start to pour. one of the relatives shouted out : " she's your daughter! and your grand children!" grandpa tried to get up, but his exhaust was tying him down. he stared at my mother and then had his other hand covering his eyes, grandpa started to cry. my cousin and i went outside and convinced ourselves that grandpa did not not recognise us, is just too sudden he couldnt recover his sense etc. we had a small chat outside grandpa's room with his other sons and daughters.

its really heartbreaking and due to my limited vocabulary, i only can think of this word. its truly a heartbreaking scene. usually its just some sons or daughters in sad love stories when they kneel down beside their love ones' bedside crying. this scene would trigger you to cry in front of your television set. imagine, this scene is brought real life with the people who love you, cry with you, did everything for you. and thinking about all this, i'm already crying. i bet if my parents were to see me right now, they most probably would bomb me with questions.

my grandpa is alright now. at least he is able to eat, walk and talk or even fight with his precious dogs. my grandpa love dogs. even if they disobey him, he would still squat down and stroke their back and talk to them, talking them round to be good dogs. its really a heart warming scene to see my grandpa do that.

feb and march releases are TOO MANYYY! is like theres sth saying it will be good luck, and sales will shoot up if they were to released in march. weird thing is all A-listers are releasing almost at the same time. usually they wont cos they wouldnt want to clash so that fans would have time to save up and buy their albums. it dun seem to be the case right now huh. sm having BoA, TVXQ, Super Junior at da same time but *laughs* at diff continent. lol.

That's hot the way you take your "Dress Off." I love it when the “Girls On Top.” If you want someone to “Eat You Up” and make you “Scream," I'm your man. I hate it when girls get too “Obsessed” with me though. Even though I “Did Ya” it doesn’t mean I'm going to call you back anytime soon.

{ TVXQ / DBSK / Tohoshinki's 4th Japanese album, "The Secret Code" was released in Japan today. The album placed second on the Oricon Daily Album Chart despite the heavy competition. Mega popular J-POP artist Ayumi Hamasaki was first on the chart selling 99,200 units on her first day. TVXQ placed second by moving 82,291 units. Another popular J-POP artist, Koda Kumi also released 2 albums today (best of compilation and driving album), but unfortunately for her she achieved only 5th and 6th place.

This is good news for TVXQ, their previous Japanese album "T" which was fairly popular achieved 52,273 sales in it's first week. Comparatively, "The Secret Code" surpassed that mark in a day. Also, BoA's Album which was released last week sold 81,627 units for the week. Namie Auro also released a new single last week and sold 75,456 units for the week. that mark in a day. todayyyy! its the first time i COOK! ok not cook, erm serious cooking for a serious meal instead of having it instant. ok i'm not exactly doing the cooking, just help out in frying the rice, crack the eggs,chopping etc. & i mopped the floor, washed the dishes not for the first time of course. todayyyyy i'm a good girl compared to my other days of living on this earth. i'm a spoilt brat so i dun usually do these things. i hardly cook cos i'm afraid of fire, cos i got burnt when i was young because i was playing with fire. how naughty m i man~ & i rmb the first time i cook, i almost burnt the whole ceiling. OMG! this is kinda embarrassing but i just want to take note of today so who cares. ppl have a good laugh ok~ haha.

till april that is. oh damn march sure is a busy month. not only i'm flying here and there. albums, singles are poppin here and there. and its only within the range of kpop and jpop. imagine i were to go after cpop. i have too much albums i haven got to listen! arghhhhhhhh~~ other than that TONS of pictures are waiting for me to edit and get them posted. oh i'm so sry! to my fellow blog readers. i'm super uber lazy at times, and just dun have the time, the energy to edit those pictures quick quick and nice nice. omyyyyy. pls wait ya~

and talking abt editting picture. i'm so back in businesssssss. i haven touched photoshop for DAMN ONE WHOLE WEEK! missed it. so todayyyy whoohoo boom one graphic out in less than one hr with 27 LAYERS! i'm madddd! oh i loveeeee COLORS! heres da little color explosion~ hmm there are some empty spaces. but its just alignment. haha. i'm v satisfied although theres still flaws. i'm being lz againnnn~
